The Budleigh Salterton Reserves ended their season with two high scoring away matches, writes SpursTom.

In the penultimate game, a visit to Thorverton, they found themselves two goals down at the break, before shipping three more in the second half to go down 5-0 to a strong and physical side.

On Saturday it was a trip to the home of Hatherleigh Town where we were treated to an entertaining ten goal thriller. Early goals made it 1-1 within the first two minutes, progressing to 4-2 in the hosts favour at half-time. After the break the Robins powered back with three goals to hold a 5-4 lead before a late equalizer from the home side, resulting in a mid-table finish for both clubs. Budleigh’s scorers were Hugo Demetre, Callum Shipton, Aarron Denny, Zack Pearce and Reece Stevens.
