Archant

Top billing in terms of local football this weekend goes to Axminster Town who, weather permitting will finally make their first appearance of 2014 when they entertain Plymstock United at Colyton School.

In the Fresha League, even if the weather again strikes, the best chance of seeing action is at Acland Park where Feniton stage an attractive Fresha League top flight game against Tiverton Town Reserves.

The spotlight then falls on Axmouth United in Fresha Four as they stage an East Devon derby with Exmouth Town Reserves proving the opposition.

Awliscombe also play hosts in a Division Four game when they entertain Lords XI.

Seaton Town Reserves are another team to have home advantage. In their case it’s for Division Five East Devon derby with Dunkeswell Rovers.

Completing the local home action are Honiton Town Reserves who play host to Exwick Village in a Division Six match.

Now all the local footballers want is some respite from the rain!
