Feniton Under-12 beaten by counter-attacking Spartans

PUBLISHED: 06:26 14 November 2012

Feniton 1, Pinhoe Spartans 8

In an Under-12 Exeter and District Youth League KO Cup tie superbly refereed by Mike Kingdom, Feniton came unstuck against unbeaten league leaders Pinhoe.

Feniton dominated the opening 20 minutes and were rather unfortunate to be only the one goal ahead.

However, the swift counter attacking game of Pinhoe eventually ensured they got their noses in front and then never looked back.

Pinhoe were clinical in dispatching their chances, but Feniton continued with their trademark passing game right up until the final whistle and the result can be seen as very harsh on Feniton.

Tom Jeacock and Dan Palfrey were the pick of the Feniton team.
