Feniton suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat when they entertained all-conquering Macron League Premier Division Elmore at Acland Park.

Fenny have 13 games left in their top flight campaign and, despite their current status as sitting fourth bottom, six points above the bottom three (though the three occupying the re-election berths have all played fewer games), boss Mark Kingdom is not entertaining any thoughts of the ‘R’ word!

He says: “We have games against the other sides struggling at the wrong end of the table and, whilst no one has a divine right to play at the top level, I am very confident that we have enough in our dressing room to ensure we are not in the bottom three at the end of the campaign.”

On Saturday (February 24), Feniton are again in Acland Park action when they host Exmouth Town Reserves (3pm).
