Feniton in good shape and ready for Seaton Town derby date

Feniton were without a game at the weekend as their opponents were involved in a previously postponed County cup tie.
The Blues return to action this Saturday with a mouth-watering local derby against in-form Seaton Town.
Whilst Feniton were inactive they slipped to third in the Fresha League Premier Division table as a result of leaders Newtown extending their advantage with a 3-0 home success over Clyst Valley and reigning champions St Martin’s moved above Feniton into second with a 2-2 draw against Heavitree Social United.
This Saturday the last remaining unbeaten record in the top flight will be put to the test against a Seaton Town side who have won five straight league outings since a late September defeat to St Martins.
Blues boss Mark Kingdon says of the derby meeting: “It’s got the makings of a cracker. I went to see the Seaton versus Beer game and saw a Town team who have a healthy combination of youth and quality. However, my team also carries considerable quality and we will, relish going head to head with a side that has consistently been there or thereabouts over the past couple of Premier Division seasons.”
