Honiton 4, Colyton 2

After a period of inactivity Honiton Under-15s made the short trip to Colyton for their latest East Devon Youth League outing.

With the team boss having to work the team were looked after by Josh Gribble and Kieran Conway.

In a bright start to the contest Honiton took a second minute lead thanks to a goal from Blake Freemantle. Parity weas swiftly restored by the home side and that set the tone for a closely contested first half.

It was Honiton who regained the lead when Ben Nursey crossed for Freemantle to net his second before the hit man struck again to complete another Sunday hat-trick. Colyton kept plugging away and scored to make it 3-2, but Honiton made sure of victory when Nursey got the goal to put the icing on his Man of the Match performance.
