Offwell Rangers net 13 and Taylor bangs in seven of the best

Offwell Rangers 13, Tedburn St Mary 1

Dan Taylor helped himself to a seven goal haul as Offwell Rangers put the Mid Devon side to their haul.

It was an impressive start to 2014 from Rangers who took their Fresha league Division Seven goal tally past the half century during the rout.

When the pair met at Tedburn back in November Rangers were beaten by the odd goal in five. That was one of just two Tedburn wins this season!

Rangers were clearly keen to redress the balance, and they did so in emphatic style scoring seven in the first half and six more after the break.

Taylor scored five times before the interval and the other first half scorers were Ollie Cramer and Karl Allen, the latter delivering the ball to the back of the net direct from a corner!

After the break Taylor notched two more to take him to 14 in his last three outings!

Cramer netted two more to complete a hat-trick and Allen got one more whilst the final scorer was Wayne Campbell.

Tedburn persevered and were reward with a goal; a lovely chip over keeper Alex McCreadie-Taylor, who was having a nap in goal after seeing little action.

Unsurprisingly, seven-goal Taylor was named the Rangers Man of the Match.
