Seaton prepare for Thorverton test

21:13 08 January 2014

Seaton were left without a game to start the new year when their Colyford Road ground was left waterlogged on Saturday.

They travel to Mid Devon this coming weekend to face a Thorverton side that currently sits ninth in the Premier Division table.

Town slipped a place to fourth last weekend when Feniton, the only team to stage a match across the nine divisions of the Fresha league, defeated Topsham Town by the odd goal in three to leap-frog them in the table.

After the meeting with Thorverton Town travel a week later to meet University before their first home game of the year, a January 25 meting with Hatherleigh.

The first six Fresha top flight outings of the year offer much hope that Town can climb back into a top three berth for they play no one higher than fifth placed Budleigh (away on February 1) before a February 15th visit to second in the table St Martins.
