Seaton 10, Dawlish 1

Seaton Under-13s have found scoring goals a tough task this season, not so I their latest game as they hit double figures against the battling visitors.

The opening goal was scored by Jake Matthews in the fifth minute. Taylor Rooke beat three players before striking a dipping shot beyond the Dawlish gloves man and Justin Somers rifled in a third to make it 3-0 in the 16th minute. A double from Dylan Freathy sent Seaton into the break with a nap hand lead.

Dawlish opened the second half scoring before Freathy completed his hat-trick. A brace from Rooke saw him bag the second Seaton hat-trick and a fine cross from Sam Waddon was tucked away by Freathy to make it 9-1. The final goal was thumped home from fully 30-yards by Jay Catley.

Sam Waddon, who’s effort and quality out wide and down the middle was superb throughout, was named the Seaton Man of the Match.
