Sidmouth Town match at Plymstock United OFF owing to waterlogged Plymstock surface

Sidmouth Town’s South West Peninsula League Eastern Division game at Plymstock United is off.

The Vikings trip to Plymstock was the first of what are expected to be a large swathe of SWP league games to be called off owing to waterlogged pitches.

It’s disappointing for Town as they had been looking forward to the trip with genuine belief that their ruin without a victory would end on the Saturday before Christmas.

The next Vikings action is now the Boxing Day Manstone Road fame with Axminster Town (11am).
