Exmouth Town 4, Axminster Town 0

The Tigers suffered only their second defeat of the Eastern Division season when defeated by their unbeaten hosts.

They fell behind to a 22nd minute penalty and went close through Alex Wheatley and Martin Hancock before going into half-time the one goal behind.

The home side got a second in the 60th minute and quickly made it three, adding a late fourth to complete a disappointing afternoon for the Tigers.

On Saturday Town entertain Newton Abbot Spurs who were also beaten last weekend (in their case for just the third time this term), losing to Stoke Gabriel.
