Bickleigh 3, Upottery 1

Upottery’s Division Three promotion bid suffered a terminal blow when they were edged out at title chasing Bickleigh.

There was no disgrace in Upottery losing at Happy Meadow where the hosts were playing their final home game of the league season.

Just Sandford have won there whilst only Lympstone and Dawlish have left with a share of the spoils.

The villagers play the first of their five remaining games of the league season on Saturday week when they travel to Sandford.
