The 10-mile dampish Full Monty-Cute mostly off road race based at the Ham Hill Countryside Park was run on Sunday, writes Dave Mutter.

A strong and speedy Amy Greenhalge was first lady home, 27th overall out of 241 entrants in 1:30:17.

Robin Britton also had a great run; he was the first vet 60, 49th overall in 1:35:26. Geoff Woodward, who is running strongly in preparation for his Christmas marathon at Portsmouth, put on a sprint in the last half mile to beat Eleanor Wood.

Woodward was 63rd, 1:38:36 and Wood firstvet 55, 66th, 1:38:58.

John Larcombe was 120th, 1:48:17; Steve Reynolds 137th, 1:51:24 and Siobhan Reddy 175th, 1:58:17.

Many thanks to Crewkerne Running Club for a most enjoyable event that included rock awards and wine.

After their exertions, all runners went home with a Christmas Pudding!
