There was a good turnout of 133 runners for the latest Seaton Parkrun, held on the first Saturday of February, writes Dave Mutter.

The run took place in drizzle, but six AVRs managed to record new personal bests - well done, Sam Eyre, Laura Kerr, Janet Cullum, Janette Mack, Fiona Pyle and Carolyn Nation.

The first woman home was Ellie Dominey of SWRR, who also set a new women’s course record of 19:20.

AVR’s Kerry Board was third while Janet Cullum also recorded the best age graded result for AVR, 76.28 per cent, coming home third after Kevin Hawker, 78.44 per cent and Ellie Dominey, 77.07 per cent.

Kevin Hawker of Honiton RC was first home overall with AVR’s Matt Hewer third finisher.
