Eleven members travelled to the Exmouth Summer Gala, where several swam to new personal bests and there were a number of medal wins in a meeting that saw the Stingrays swim against swimmers from Exmouth, Chard and Exeter.

On the same day that club members were in swim action at Exmouth, Stingray member Sam Gammon took part in the South West Aquathlon Championships held at Plymouth’s Mount Batten.

Competing in what was a 250-metre open water swim that was followed by a 2k run, young Sam was fourth in the Tristar Two age group.
