Honiton Chivers Goblet joy for Hilda Hoepelman and Bob Barnes

The Chivers Goblets were played for again this past week, writes Andy Wagner.

This competition is played each month with the Goblets being presented to the winning couple.

The format is greensome stableford - drawn for playing partners and the winners this month, with 39 points were Hilda Hoepelman playing with Bob Barnes.

In second place with 37 points were Di Wall and Cyril Dann. Countback was used to separate the other minor placings with Lesley Oxenham and Allan Seager edging out Elizabeth Wood and Den Calver for third.
