Archant

Yes folks, even though the old soak rolled in with claret impaired vision, bodily functions and co-ordination Bob Parmee was on his favourite ConClub alley three, knocked in his now customary two spares for a knock of 74 and it was goodnight Vienna and thanks for the booty, writes Andrew Meecham.

Matt ‘wrong trousers’ Woollacott managed to hold on to his shirt tails, but had to settle for second best in the end with 70

The best of the rest was Tony ‘tone’ Bennett with 68

Walt ‘the kid’ Collins made up for a lack lustre evening by winning the mystery prize draw, a rather nice Vino d’Anjou Rose

But it was all hail to the old stager, even if he was three sheets to the wind, and beyond! Taxi for Parmee!
