Honiton Demons Under-10s travelled to Cullompton for matches with the hosts and also Bradninch.
First up against Cullompton Demons took an early lead through Josh Edwards who bundled the ball home following a cross from Connor Richards.
The home side rallied, scored twice and took a slender advantage into half-time.
A sweetly struck Aidan Manvell free-kick saw Honiton level things up at 2-2. Cully finished the stronger adding two more goals to win 4-2.
In the game with Bradninch Demons fell one down when, despite an initial magnificent save by keeper Aidan Manvell, Bradninch scored.
Despite fine defending from Josh Edwards and Freddie Richards and more fine saves from Aidan Manvell Bradninch added further goals. After the break Freddie Richards went back into goal and continued to show what a good addition to the squad he is with some great saves. Connor Harrison Ross Hurford and Josh Edwards tried hard and Elliot Holdsworth ran himself into the ground.
The Player of the Day award was won by Josh Edwards who managed to score his first goal of the season and he showed great attitude throughout.
Demons are training this Saturday looking to work on went wrong in the games with Cully and Bradninch and there is also a visit to the club by a representative of Devon FA to give a talk to the entire club on the FA RESPECT programme.
