Four Honiton RC members travelled to Exeter to take part in the Exeter 10k, writes Judy Davey

The course is both flat and fast and all four put in great efforts.

Steve Selley was first back for Honiton coming 93rd in a time of 43 minutes and 21 seconds.

Next back, and hot on the heels of Selley, was Katy Campbell, 117th in a time of 45 minutes and 18 seconds.

Sharon Wells was delighted to knock five minutes off her time for last year’s race. She came in 207th in 51:18.

Donna Stone, in her first ever race, came in 282nd in 58:45, well within the hour target she had set herself.

The race was won by Tom Merson in 31:12 and 358 people turned out for the event.
