Honiton’s washout of their penultimate D Division away game leaves the Mountbatten Park men still nervously looking over their shoulder in the battle to avoid the drop.
Heading into the last two match days of the season, Honiton are two places and seven points above the drop zone.
On Saturday they travel to the side who sit immediately below them in the table, Halberton and Sampford Peverell.
What is crystal clear is that Honiton have their fate very much in their own hands.
Win at Sampford Peverell and they can sit easy on the final day of the season when they entertain Shaldon.
However, lose this coming Saturday and they will face a nervous time on the final day when they could be up against a side having to win to bag a promotion berth.
