Di and Phil Wall are the organisers of this months Tuesday Mixed and, for their first competition, the format was Rye Foursomes Stableford, writes Andy Wagner.

Before teeing off players must decide which of the partnership will take the second shot on the odds or even numbered holes.

Twenty-six players enjoyed the day with the winning score, after count back, of 37 points was carded by Lesley Farley and Chris Poole.

Edged into second spot, also with 37 points, were the pairing of Su Calver and Paul Ritchie.

Third place was claimed by Linda Northover and Stan Squire with 34 points.

The prizes were presented by Jackie Seager and Chris Poole gave a vote of thanks.
