Honiton Tuesday mixed triumph for Farley and Pipe

The Honiton Tuesday mixed saw 18 holes played in the sun - that’s a first for 2014, writes Andy Wagner.

Twenty-eight members enjoyed the weather playing a Rye Foursomes. The winning couple, with an excellent score of 42 points were Lesley Farley and Max Pipe.

In second place with 37 points were Jan and John Dickinson. Third, with 36 points were Di Wall and Dennis Calver whilst Andrea and Stan Squire took fourth with 34 points after countback.

Organisers of the mixed competition’s for this month are Maggie and Max Pipe who announced the prize-winners with club captain Ron Graham presenting them.
