Keith Brealey Trophy success for Isca players Brown and Dixie

12:05 28 August 2014

Last Sunday saw the staging of the Keith Brealey Trophy Held at Isca Petanque Club, Exeter in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance, writes John Thatcher.

The day was in memory of Keith who was a member of Isca Petanque Club who sadly passed away suddenly in 2012.

A Total of 10 teams with players from Isca, Ottery St Mary and Chudleigh Petanque Clubs entered and £231 was raised for charity.

The weather held off with only a short shower in the semi-final.

The final was an all ISCA event with Stewart Brown and Joan Dixie against Jon Grigg and Yvonne Brown.

Jon and Yvonne took an early lead, but Stewart and Joan managed to come from behind and win with an exciting five point final end to win by 13 points to eight.
