Mary King has had a memorable season, the highlight being a silver medal performance in the London Olympics but the season’s finale in Pau, France will be one to forget.
Having posted a 39.8 dressage test on Imperial Cavalier, he tripped when landing after a straightforward cross country fence and fell. Both King and the horse were unscathed.
King’s Temptress had been lower down the list in the dressage with a 47.7 score, and had what King described as a ‘naughty run out’ at a fence early on the cross country track.
●King is giving a lecture/demo on Sunday, November 4 near Falmouth and there are a few tickets still available.
