This week it is the Lyme Regis ladies who have come out on top in the league, writes Paul Moffitt.

The championship side managed just two points whilst Lyme Two were again without a single point.

The ladies also managed a convincing win in their first round of the Top Club competition against Greenhill’s second string.

Lyme were also left wanting in three out of the five friendlies, losing very heavily to Axminster, where we always struggle on their synthetic surface.

We played host to three touring sides over the Bank Holiday, which provided captain Phil Stephens with quite a headache trying to secure enough members for all the fixtures.

Results:

Dorset Men’s Championship:

Lyme 2 points; Greenhill 8.
