Lympstone boxers prepare for fight night on Friday at Exmouth Pavilion

19:40 12 October 2014

Lympstone boxers had a boost recently when former super middle weight champion of the world Cornelius Carr took a training session at the

club’s Shepherds Row Gym.

Carr held a morning session with the juniors and then worked with the seniors in the afternoon.

The boxers all seemed to take plenty from the sessions as they honed their skills ahead of the club ‘s latest tournament being held on Friday, October 17, at Exmouth Pavilion when the Guest of Honour will be the founder of Lympstone ABC 47 years ago, Neil Parsons.

Neil recently retired as secretary of the club due to Ill health. There are a few last-minute tickets still available from Autosave, Exeter Road, Exmouth or call 0745 4546382.
