The Treble Six Format is such a good game - being Better Ball for the first six holes gives one a chance to ‘warm up the swing’ - however with this lovely weather we are then trying to keep cool, writes Andy Wagner.

The winners of the latest Tuesday Mixed meeting, with 38 points, were Linda Northover playing with Paul Ritchie.

In second with 37 points were Stephanie Barnes and seniors vice captain Mike Watts and taking third were Jane Watts with Bob Barnes scoring 35 points.

The Vets County Flitch competition was played at Teignmouth this year with 100 couples taking part.

Andrea and Stan Squire scored 36 points to finish seventh.
