No action for Offwell Rangers owing to waterlogged pitches and so Gary Osbourne’s side remain fourth bottom of the Third Division.
Osbourne says: “It’s disappointing when we play so well one week and then have to sit out the next game owing to the weather. It does not give the side any chance of serious continuity of performance.”
On Saturday they are due to travel to North Tawton who sit second bottom with just fur points to date from 13 matches.
North Tawton are without a win of any kind since the final Saturday of August and have not won at home yet in league or cup.
Osbourne says: “It’s a game I expect us to win and we’ll prepare for the game in midweek and then give it our best shot. It’s important that we look to repeat our show last time out. If we are focussed on what we should, be doing then I am confident we will get a result.”
The week off has been of benefit to one Offwell player with Jamie Westwood having extra time to get over his ankle injury and Dan Hayden should also have recovered form illness to make the trip to North Tawton.
