At the national stadium in Bangkok, Thailand last week local Muay Thai instructor and three times champion Sonny Perez was graded to assistant master (kru yai) by the grandmasters in Muay Thai, the national sport of Thailand.

This is a rare honour for a non-Thai and makes Perez the highest graded Thai-boxing instructor in the south west and one of only a handful of instructors graded to this level in Europe.

There are Muay Thai classes for adults and juniors in Honiton. If you are interested in learning this art please call 07791607735.
