BHA Vet team check pony racers

In conjunction with the BHA Veterinary team, checks were carried out on all 34 ponies at the Ledbury Point-to-Point last Sunday.
All ponies were scanned for microchips, ID checked and had their vaccinations checked. The winners of each division were also dope tested.
Two ponies had more than one chip and three were incorrectly vaccinated.
The two with the multiple chips are being looked into and as per the link below the three whose jabs were incorrect cannot be entered until they are corrected.

The PRA will be carrying out further random checks throughout the season at point to point pony races.
