It was a poor week for both Feniton teams in the Exeter and District Ovcer-60s Triples League, writes Roger Smith.

The A team went down 35-24 at Marina B and the B team slipped to a 44-28 reversal at Budleigh B.

Meanwhile, the ladies defeated Heavitree in the NBTL by 44-28. The winning rink was G Blackmore, J Evans and D Phillips (25-8).

However, the ladies then lost a friendly encounter with Seaton 63-40.

The mixed team defeated tourists Lyminge in a very close match that saw just four shots between the teams at the close. Feniton were 98-94 winners being the rinks of M Evans, S Kury and D Evans (38-7) and G Blackmore, J Smith and A Kury (14-12).
