Seaton Town Under-8s endured mixed fortunes in their latest outings, writes Alan Hale.
First up they put Newton St Cyres to the sword with an excellent all-round show that saw them score six unanswered goals.
George Gait led the way with a hat-trick and the other scorers were Leo Gribble (2) and Aaron Hale.
Next up they met a strong Stoke Hill side that powered into a 4-0 half-time lead.
To their credit the Town youngsters refused to let their heads drop and they ‘won’ the second half 1-0 thanks to a Max Neville goal.
Samuel Hemmings, Billy Fowler and Corbin Reel were solid in defence and really stuck to their task whilst debutant Corey Pritchard made a promising start to youth football.
