Chard prepare for visit of Bideford in a South West Division One meeting.

21:13 08 January 2014

Chards eagerly awaited clash against League Leaders St Austell in South West Division One last Saturday was postponed as a result of the weather which left the main ground only suitable for growing rice!, writes Glyn Hughes.

There is no official date for the replay, but February 1, looks to be the most likely option.

The Chard 3rd XV game in Somerset Three South against Castle Cary 2nd XV was also a victim of the weather.

This coming Saturday the 1st XV entertain Bideford.

Also in action on Saturday are the 2nd XV, who entertain Castle Cary 1st XV with the match being played at Crewkerne Road. The 3rd XV are away at Burnham-on-Sea.

Kick off times for all matches is 2.15pm.
