Last season St Martins were the side that broke the Seaton Town hearts, pipping them to the top honour and they have continued with their one-upmanship this term beating Josh Stunell’s men home and away in the space of a week.

Johnny Wilkinson and Tom Vincent scored the Town goals.

Stunell always considered his sides start to be the toughest they could possible have had.

He says: “For us the season really does start right now. We have made an inauspicious start, but the fixture computer was really unkind to us! I don’t like seeing a Fresha league table with Seaton Town not in a challenging berth and will be doing al I can to get us motoring in an upwardly mobile direction.”

On Saturday Town travel for a meeting with Budleigh Salterton Reserves.
