Town’s alarming slide down the Premier Division table continued as they fell to a seventh defeat of the top flight season.
It was the season long nemesis of individual mistakes that struck on another disappointing afternoon at Colyford Road.
Much of the Town play was bright and inventive. They fell, behind only to bounce back and draw level through an own goal. However, two bad individual errors gifted the visitor’s further goals.
Town boss Josh Stunell said: “I am afraid it was more of the same with some ridiculous mistakes that our opponents seem to always take full advantage of. Much of our game is so good, no different to last year. The work rate is exceptional, the commitment is good, but we are paying heavy prices on a regular basis for individual errors.”
On Saturday Town entertain Newtown who beat them 3-0 last month when the sides contested league points in Exeter.
