Skipper Craig Sluman opened the scoring when he got on the end of an Ollie Cramer cross.

The visitors responded well and duly equalised only for Sluman to restore his sides lead.

Just before the break a delightful chip from Ben Fullick sent Rangers in with a 3-1 advantage.

The second half saw more of the same with Rangers holding a measure of control.

Fullick doubled his tally to make it 4-1 before the visitors had the chance to get a goal back from the penalty spot, but Rangers keeper Kieran Sluman produced a superb save after which his team mates closed the game out.

Alex McCreadie-Taylor, in charge of the squad in Dave Chaffey’s absence, said: “I am delighted with the team’s performance. They worked really hard and all stepped up to the plate for this game. Picking a Man of the Match was quite hard as there were so many candidates, but it was given jointly to Craig Sluman and Ben Fullick.”
