Sophie Keech was part of the England girls’ team that won the Home Internationals for the seventh year running.

The girls secured the title again with a 7-2 success over Wales at Donabate in Ireland.

Previously the England girls had defeated both Ireland and Scotland top finish the tournament with a perfect record of played there and won three.

Whilst every member of the team contributed to the overall victory young Keech played all her foursomes with India Clyburn and they proved to be a solid paring, remaining unbeaten in all their doubles and singles matches.

Among the team supporters in Ireland were India’s sister, Holly Clyburn and Hannah Burke, both former England internationals who play on the ladies European Tour.

Post tournament Keech left Southern Ireland to travel to the Masserine Golf Club in Northern Ireland where she was playing in the British Girls Championship that began on Monday of this week.
