Staddon leads AVRs home at the Great West Run

It was raining cats and dogs for this year’s Great West Run half marathon in Exeter, writes Dave Mutter.

However, the elements did not stop 31 AVRs turning out, with fantastic support being given throughout.

Many were running their first half marathon and it was a fantastic achievement by all. Special mention for Laura Kerr, who was running the race whilst five months pregnant!

Duncan Staddon was the first AVR home, finishing 33rd in 01:23:03, closely followed by Robert Collier, 01:24:25; Terry Emmett, 01:26:02 and Ollie Rodger, 01:27:42.
