Axminster Town chairman Ray Self and Tigers’ secretary Adam Cowling had an impromptu meeting in the most unlikely of settings last week.
Self and his wife Bridgett enjoy walking and, for his latest birthday they took themselves up Mount Snowdon in Wales.
On the way down the mountain they bumped into Cowling who had also decided to enjoy the recent weather to take in a mountain climb!
Self said: “It really was quite surreal. Bridget and I were two-thirds of the way back down and low and behold, coming up in the opposite direction was Adam.
“I had no idea he had a trip there planned and neither did he know we were there!”
