Tough time for Chardstock Bowling club

PUBLISHED: 17:00 19 July 2018

Chardstock Bowling Club’s first season in the East of Exe League started well with a win at home to Tiverton BC, but that proved to be a bit of a one-off as the following five matches all ended in defeat.

On Monday last, the team travelled to Feniton with some trepidation as their previous encounter, at home, did not go well for the hosts.

On this beautiful sunny evening, the team finally showed what they can do, taking three of the four rinks to win the match in a tightly fought encounter.
