Cullompton U9s 55 , Honiton U9s 10
After the extended winter break the ‘Lacelads’ managed to play their second game of the week at neighbours Cullompton, writes Luke Owen.
In bitterly cold conditions, Honiton were out-played by the home side who were far more efficient at getting the ball out wide to exploit the space created by some narrow defending.
As a result Cullompton ran out 55 points to 10 winners in an entertaining game which was enjoyed by all involved.
Honiton try scorers were Joshua Giles and Osian Owen who both powered over but it was James Harris who took the Man of the Match award after some strong running and impressive defending.
