Chance to dance at Honiton Beehive

18:30 27 October 2014

Archant

You can kick off the autumnal blues - you can put on those dancin’ shoes and go dancing!

The Beehive is proving to be a very popular dance venue with its large, semi- sprung, oak flooring in the Joanna Leach auditorium, and there is something for all tastes and on most days of the week.

The venue has just started having street dance sessions with Joy Parke on Mondays at 4pm and 7pm; on Tuesdays, at 7.30pm, there is swing dancing with Lyme Bay Lindy, great fun and very sociable, as is Le Roc, modern jive which is at 8pm, on Thursdays.

The Beehive also offers salsa on Wednesday mornings at 10am and Westernspirit line dancing at 7pm, then there is belly dancing upstairs at 7.15pm.

Among all of this the venue has classes for children and adults with East Devon Dance Academy in ballet, modern, tap and jazz dance on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4pm.

To top all of this, there are The Beehive tea dances on the second Friday of each month, (next one on Friday, November 14) with delicious teas and live music from ‘Must B Mad!’ featuring three fabulously talented singers performing music from the last seven decades.

Fancy a foxtrot, a waltz, or a bit of cha, cha, cha?

You know where to go!
