Chance to meet Lyme Regis Society members

Anyone who has an interest in the natural and architectural heritage of Lyme Regis may well also be interested in going to the Lyme Regis Society’s annual coffee morning at the Alexandra Hotel.

The event takes place on Friday, January 25, at 10.30 am and is your chance to meet the society’s committee, to see its publications and to talk to other members.

Everyone is welcome and admission is by donation with free coffee and biscuits.

Noel Harrower book release

Exmouth author Noel Harrower has a new book out. Uncivil War – Twin Tales From Nottinghamshire is an ‘action-packed’ historical novel, telling the story of five children caught in the conflict of the English Civil War. Set in Nottinghamshire, the twin tales follow the raising of the King’s Standard at Nottingham Castle in 1642, through to 1646, when King Charles surrendered to the Scottish army outside Newark.
