Day time band seeks musical director in East Devon

An East Devon band is seeking an honorary musical director to help it grow and develop.

East Devon Day Time Band was formed in March 2017 as an independent brass ensemble and successfully progressed to performing Christmas carol engagements last year.

A spokesman for the group said: “We are a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive group of passionate brass players who are seeking musical direction.

“We meet every Wednesday morning at Tipton St John Community Hall, Tipton St John.

“We are now seeking an honorary musical director to help the growth and development of the band.

“We would like someone who is a sympathetic, kind spirited, experienced musician with a sound understanding of the brass musical genre to take up the baton and help move the band forward.”
