Shop manager, Helen and assistant manager, Rachael would like to invite anyone who is interested in volunteering to a coffee morning on Wednesday, February 8, from 10.30am-1pm to give people the chance to find out a little more about what they do. The team are particularly interested in those who could help organise their shop fundraising days and individuals with a flair for fashion and merchandising. However, there are still of other plenty of roles available.

The shop is currently featuring a volunteer recruitment notice board in their window which highlights the roles they urgently need to fill within the team. Alternatively, why not pop in store for a chat and see what opportunities are on offer.

Volunteering can lead to great things such as a chance to gain National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ’s) in various aspects of retail. Plus the work experience looks great on that all-important curriculum vitae, UCAS form or as part of award schemes such as Duke of Edinburgh. It’s also a great way to make friends and feel part of a team who are working together for a great cause.

For further information or any enquiries, please contact Helen Robinson on 01404 44002.
