Axminster Historical Society will be hosting a talk about The History of Exeter.

Born and bred in Devon, Tony Burges has a real passion for the county and he now enjoys life as a Dartmoor National Park Guide and an Exeter Red Coat Guide.

He will talk about Exeter’s history through the ages of the Roman, Saxon, Norman and Medieval periods to the present day.

It will take place on Wednesday, December 5, at 7.30pm, at The United Reformed Church Hall, in Chard Street, Axminster.
