Exmouth Centre Stage

Following Centre Stage’s spectacular end of year finale – Step Into Christmas at the Exmouth Pavilion on Sunday – Mark Worsley, the executive chairman of the town’s youth theatre group, has been reflecting on the events of 2014. “Centre Stage has had a busy year and taken part in some fantastic events,” he said. “As well as its two big productions, Whistle Down the Wind and Thoroughly Modern Millie, the company has been part of the Exeter Dance Festival, the Teignmouth One Act Play Festival, has sung with chart-topping Blake, and sung for various charities. The company also performed a summer concert, One Night Only, and appeared at the Last Night of the Proms at the Pavilion. More recently, Centre Stage has performed at the Devoncourt Hotel for the turning on of the Christmas lights, at Exmouth’s Christmas Cracker, and Step Into Christmas.”

Centre Stage’s next production will be Sweeney Todd – the Demon Barber of Fleet Street – which will be staged in April.
