To brighten up everyone’s weekend after the soggy half term, Devon’s Crealy are slashing their entrance prices to just £4 per person for both Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, meaning a family of four can visit Devon’s biggest family attraction for just £16!
The one-off “£4 Family Weekend”, which coincides with Father’s Day, is expected to be a sell-out, with the award-winning park gearing up for thousands of families wanting to make the most of the special weekend.
Josh Haywood, general manager for the park comments: “If this two-day, one-off family weekend is as popular as a similar weekend held at our sister park in Cornwall, then Devon’s Crealy is going to be buzzing with families getting out and about and enjoying real, quality family time. Delivering maximum fun - and maximum value - is what we are all about.”
Crealy estimates the weekend could help families make a collective saving of thousands of pounds over the course of the two-day event.
“We appreciate everybody is having to tighten their belts, making it harder for families to treat themselves to days out. Being a family-run business, we value the importance of quality family time and our £4 weekend should allow even more families to get out and about and spend quality time together,” Josh says.
Crealy has invested heavily in the park over the winter, with the indoor play area for younger children, Buddy Bear’s Kingdom, being completely revamped, and the Show Dome features live Buddy and Blossom Bear shows every day. Crealy also created The Last Frontier, a wild-west themed play area, and introduced wallabies and emus to the park’s zoo.
With over 40 attractions, including the Maximus rollercoaster, Vortex water slides, exciting outdoor and indoor play areas for all ages, not to mention over 100 cute animals to look at or pet - including the new meerkat pups - it is easy to see why Crealy remains a firm, family favourite, whatever the weather.
