Georgie Porgie prepares for mischief in Chardstock

Chardstock Amateur Dramatic Society will be presenting its pantomime this week

Georgie Porgie, by Paul Reakes, will be staged at Chardstock Community Hall.

A spokesman for the group said: “Come and see this fantastic show.

“Last year, CADS production of Cinderella scooped five nominations, four star of the future awards, and Linkman of the year Award at the Somerset Fellowship of Drama Cinderella Competition.

“The group has also received the prestigious NODA region 8A Special Achievement Award for best production in 2012 and a nomination for Best Pantomime 2012 - the winner of this will be announced at the Area Awards Dinner in March.

“This year’s show hopes to be just as well received - a show not to be missed.”

The show will run from Thursday, February 28 to Saturday, March 2, with performances starting at 7.30pm, as well as a matinee on Saturday, at 3pm.

There is a special group offer for Thursday evening to buy 10 tickets get the 11th free.

The box office is at Chardstock Stores and Post Office.
