Hawkchurch to host Christmas Fayre

Hawkchurch Fete Committee will be holding a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, December 8, in the Village Hall commencing at 2pm.

There will be a variety of gift stalls including cards, hand crafted gifts, jewellery, scarves, wooden toys, walking sticks, cakes and more.

There will also be games of chance for adults and children; also a Christmas Raffle.

Teas will be served with mince pies.

Santa will be dropping by to meet the children and Bridport Ukulele Group will be performing a selection of Christmas Classics

Entry 50p per adult, children free

There will be something for everyone

Entertainment will be provided throughout the afternoon in the main ring with performances from the local band Coast, Honeysuckle Dog Agility team, free flying display by Xtreme Falconry and children’s entertainment from Aldo the Clown.

As well as the main ring entertainment there will be a whole host of stalls, games and side shows including craft marquee, bouncy castle, face painting, coconut shy, crazy golf, skittles, vintage tractors, Cotley Hounds, Laural Farm Alpacas, West Country Sled Dogs and much more.

New for this year will be a children’s pets corner.

The Church Tower will also be open – the view from the top is breaktaking.

Cream teas, cakes, ice creams and licensed bar will be available all afternoon as well as a BBQ.

So why not go along and join in all the fun for a great family bank holiday weekend in Hawkchurch.
